Knilo is a chair with a contemporary and sculptural look. The inspiration came from the classic garden chairs and the idea of how to rethink the folding shapes and functions of a chair to be more in style and form closure as usual chairs.

Another benefit of the folding shapes is that they can integrate well a bigger structure in the middle part connecting to the main structures of front and back legs into the backrest. On bottom and back of the chair the shape is adding a volume in the middle in which the structure to hold the rips together is placed while integrating into the full form without disturbing.

For the material we thought of either metal or a plastic. The shapes are a good match to extend the collection like seen in the side table. Further pillows can add more comfort and also a more settled approach to the chair.
